Awards

The SWSC Lowry Fund is pleased to provide several competitive abstract awards that recognize excellence in research and presentation. The Nonie Lowry Award honors past SWSC Director Nonie Lowry for her strength, professionalism, and dedication to the Congress and is open to new Active Members within their first three years of membership. The Jack Barney Award recognizes the best paper presented by a Resident or Fellow who serves as both the primary author and presenter; applicants do not need to be SWSC members, though Medical Students are not eligible. The APP Best Paper Award recognizes the best paper presented by an Advanced Practice Provider who serves as both the primary author and presenter and is open regardless of membership status. Eligible authors may apply for these awards directly within the abstract submission process.
